Co-Production Showcasing Opportunities

Have you got a new musical theatre piece in development? Just work shopped and ready to showcase your work and take it into the next step towards a full production?

Iris Theatre is always looking for new musicals to showcase, typically for one or two nights. The venue is the famous St Paul’s Church (the ‘Actors Church) in Covent Garden, in the heart of central London. It is a large space that seats approximately 200 people and is best suited acoustically to musical/sung work, highly visual or engaging performances rather than spoken word.

With no upfront rental cost, working on a box office split we offer support in the areas of marketing, administration, technical and front of house as well as producing advice in the form of Producing Surgeries. Our co-productions at the Actors Church are a low risk opportunity to get your work seen. We are not able to offer financial support but we do provide support in-kind as well as fundraising advice.

This is a great ‘first step’ platform for writers and emerging producers to get their work seen for the first time before committing to a full production.
