She often makes new work and has shown work-in-progress performances at Mini VAULT Festival, BAC, Ovalhouse, Platform Theatre and Shoreditch Town Hall.
She was recently the Assistant Director on The Famous Victories of Henry V (RSC) and was the Tour Director on SPID Theatre’s 2012 outdoor promenade production of Childsplay. In 2013 she was the Community Director for the CASA Latin American Theatre Festival and has also assisted at venues including the Finborough, Gate and Arcola.
Amy is currently an NT Connections Director and regularly runs workshops in directing and acting.

Denis’s Shakespearean roles include Duke Vincentio (Measure for Measure), Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), Dr Pinch/Solinus (The Comedy of Errors), Feste (Twelfth Night), King Duncan (Macbeth) and a critically acclaimed Polonius in Hamlet at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe. Other favourite stage roles have included Sir Antony Absolute (The Rivals), Pinchwife (The Country Wife), Sir Harcourt Courtly (London Assurance), Dr Rank (A Doll’s House) and Boniface (The Beaux’ Stratagem). Emma began her career at age 6, as ‘lead pond' in a local ballet. She then pursued her acting whilst completing her degree in Psychology and Mathematics graduating in 2015.
Recent university productions include: Lysistrata (Lakeside Arts Centre - title role), Antigone (Nottingham New Theatre - title role), Tanya in Jerusalem (Nottingham New Theatre ), Sylvia in Tribes (Nottingham New Theatre), Ellen in Gut Girls (Nottingham New Theatre).
Her professional debut was in 2015 with the role of Georgiana Darcey in Pride and Prejudice, directed by Tamara Harvey (Sheffield Crucible Theatre).

Of summer 2015 Amber designed the set of last year’s ‘Pinocchio’ alongside graduating with a First Class Honors in BA Theatre design from Wimbledon College of Art. With unhindered interest in fine art practise and set design for the stage and screen, Amber is currently pursing assistant/associate designer roles and embarking on the exploration of set design for fashion. She has a particular fascination with textural play and up-cycling of found, and easily accessible, objects and materials.
When she is not spending her time rifling through mountains of antique clothing in flea markets Kinnetia dedicates her time to Costume Design. After graduating from Wimbledon College of Art with a Ba (HONS) in Theatre: Costume Design she has pursued a diverse career, which includes design for theatre, television and film. She also works as a Set Decorator, Photographer and Lingerie Designer; her creative pursuits are never limited to Costume Design. Having worked & assisted on productions by companies such as Secret Cinema, The English National Opera, Gorgeous TV and The X Factor her working background boasts a myriad of visual styles.
Tanja has an MA in Dramaturgy from Goldsmiths College and works as both a director and producer, focusing her own work on new writing.
She produced shows in venues such as The Pleasance, The Albany, The Space, Tara Arts, the New Diorama and produced a festival at RichMix, which won the International Press Award and The Lukas2015 Arts Festival of the Year Award.
For Iris Theatre, she produced Twelfth Night and Pinocchio in 2015.
With a background in marketing, licensing, distrbution, co production and brand management, Catherine managed global brands for international blue chip companies before heading up the European arm of South Korean agency KOCCA in 2005 (under the Ministry of Culture), setting up distribution, co production and licensing partnerships for Korean animation character brands and mobile content across Europe. After this, Catherine worked independently, directly with animation studios distributing and licensing out their content internationally. She has worked as marketing consultant for arts organisations including Stratford Circus, Company Chameleon, Scottish Youth Dance, Akademi and Broken Leg Theatre amongst others, focussing on audience development, strategic marketing and development of the organisations' marketing for national tours / promoting work.
Catherine has an MA in Strategic Marketing from Kingston Business School and a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Filipe is an Associate Artist of Iris Theatre. Filipe’s sound works & compositions are often presented in new and imaginative ways - from interactive experiences to sonically bringing props and objects to life. Filipe has worked on several Iris Theatre productions, including; As You Like It, Julius Caesar, Richard III, Alice in Wonderland, Through The Looking Glass and Circuit. Other theatre productions and sound installations include: The Whispering Forest (OXO Tower), Alice (V&A Museum), Hangover Square (Tailspin Theatre), Nineveh (Theatre Témoin), Well (Metta Theatre), Switch (1000 Most Influential Londoner Awards), Transient Rhythms (Margate), Walk With Me (Margate).

Jonathan graduated from Birmingham University with a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts and then worked at Mountview Theatre School for many years, both on the technical team and also running part time acting courses for adults and children. He has since pursued a career in events management working on a variety of both large and small events in some truly extraordinary venues and locations, including the Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilee celebrations and Senior Event Manager at the Royal Albert Hall and The 02 Arena.
Jonathan is currently freelance having recently worked on Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, and is delighted to be back working in theatre and looking forward to an exciting summer season with Iris Theatre.
Jenny is studying for her BA in Drama at Queen Mary, University of London. Originally from Bristol, she has worked at Stratford Circus Arts Centre and also works as a Specialist Volunteer at Theatre Troupe, a theatre-arts organisation for young people with acute and chronic mental health issues. Jenny has a passion for film and theatre production, having recently produced her first short festival film 'Dissociation'. Jenny is a Befriending Volunteer at Maytree, a respite centre for suicidal people, and is also working on Brook's 'Do...' Project, which aims to improve Sex and Relationships Education (SRE) in the UK.
Sophie is currently studying a joint degree in Film Studies and Drama at Queen Mary, University of London. She enjoys working in both theatre and film, and has had some experience in both areas. Her previous experience in theatre was in Dubai, where she grew up, as an Assistant Director for two productions, Footloose and Macbeth. In 2015, she produced three student films, one at Queen Mary and two at London Metropolitan University. She is currently working on a short film as the lead actress, as well as working at the CUB magazine as head of PR Events and Marketing.
Sofi has a Bachelor of Media Studies where she majored in Film and Television production and Marketing/Public relations from Swinburne University in Melbourne. She started her career in film production, having produced a number of award-winning short films and worked on commercial projects for World Vision, TopShop, Live Nation, London ZSL Zoo, HSBC Bank and Cornetto. Since moving to the UK two years ago, Sofi has produced on a number of theatre and live event productions in London, Edinburgh, Germany and Brighton. These include Happy Ending (Arcola Theatre), Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope (Arts Theatre), Romance/Romance (Landor Theatre), Macbeth (Greenwich Theatre and Germany Tour) and Kingmaker (UK Tour) among others both independently and in her role as Associate Producer and then General Manager of Propeller Productions Ltd. She also works in venue management for a number of London venues in duty management, stage management and box office.
Ine Van Riet
Ine has an MA in Creative Producing from Birkbeck College, University of London. Ine joined Iris Theatre after working as Development Officer and Associate Producer for Tara Arts. She is also a freelance Fundraising Consultant and Producer. Credits include: Eye of a Needle (Southwark Playhouse), Horniman’s Choice (Finborough Theatre), Mucky Kid (Theatre503), Sita’s Story (National Tour, Tara Arts).
For Iris Theatre, Ine worked as General Manager on Twelfth Night and Pinocchio in 2015 and produced the first stage development of H.R.Haitch, a new musical by Luke Bateman and Mary Evans.
Ine is now part of the Development Team at the Bush Theatre and will continue her association with Iris Theatre as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Charlotte trained at London College of Fashion, gaining a degree in Costume for Performance. Since then she has become a freelance costume maker, creating costumes for theatre, ballet and opera productions, as well as making bespoke garments for a wide variety of clients and events. Her interests lie in making anything that helps tell a story, whether historical, fantastical or contemporary.
Valentini studied theatre in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2005-2011). While at University she worked as an actress in many shows including shows that were part of Athens Theatre Festival, Thessaloniki Biennale and Prague Quadrennial. In 2012 she received her MA in Drama and Performance after studying at the University College Dublin. She moved to the UK in September 2013 and has worked as an actor and stage manager in many venues including Theatre 503 (Woman in the Dunes), Bush Theatre (Arthur’s World), The Cockpit (Equally, Head Rot Holiday) and Union Theatre (Closer to Heaven, Bad Girls).

Sezen is a Live Events and TV student in London College of Communcation. Alongside the short student films she worked in, she has taken an interest in theatre and is happy to be part of Iris Theatre.

Robert-James has just finished his second year of his Illustration degree and with a continuing passion for narrative work, this is his first experience with set design and it has revealed new exciting possibilities for creating on a larger scale.

Pleun is a third year scenography student in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and currently an exchange student at the UAL: theatre design. She has a love for theatre, Opera especially, and really enjoys being part of the set-construction team.

Originally from Argentina, when Natalia moved to London she decided to return to her passion in backstage theatre. She previously did a placement in Scenic art at the Royal Opera House. She's very excited to work with the Iris Theatre!
