‘Imagine the things that you can do when you see the world from a different point of view…’

 For this family of three, things have hit rock bottom – so it’s time for their adventurous neighbour to step in and help!   Through the power of some magical specs, will Starla, Flo and their new friends be able to grant their family’s wish at last? 

 First performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2019, Tiny T’s Storytelling & Theatre present a brand new musical adaption of ‘Spectacular‘, along with a rhyming Picture Book that will leave everyone, tiny or tall, with a twinkle in their eye. Performed with high energy, life size puppets, creative props and catchy songs that will get everyone toe-tapping.

Tara Harris (Starla)

Actor, Puppeteer, Writer, Musician, Company Founder

Tara started writing music and stories since her childhood, with her main inspiration from Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. With a love of adventure and magic, Tara has been able to create various magical characters that children can relate to, including the well known 'Rainbow Fairies'.
Since graduating as a Professional Musical Theatre Artist in 2015, Tara has performed in various independent plays and musicals including 'Who Dunnit' Murder Mystery comedies, Children's Theatre and various Pantomimes, whilst writing for children and creating her own work. Tara performed most recently in Julia Donaldson's 'Zog Uk Tour' as Lead Puppeteer and Understudy for Zog himself with Freckle Productions. With a passion for sparking imagination and inspiration in young people, Tara is over the moon to bring back 'Spectacular' with Iris Theatre this summer, having first performed the show in 2019 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, to now adapting it into a Children's Picture Book.

Jemma Carlisle (Flo)

Actor, Singer, Director

Jemma is a Theatre School Director and sings with 'The Wild Tonics', a 1920s Hollywood Vocal Trio. With her professional debut aged seven playing Victoria Larkin in ‘The Darling Buds of May’, she then went on to perform in more theatre.

Other Theatre credits include: Annie ‘Annie’ (UK No 1 & International Tour); Wendy ‘Peter Pan the Musical’ (Malaysia); ‘Thursday’s Child’ (Sadler’s Wells); ‘Life Of Riley’ (Covent Garden); Alice ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (UK Tour); ‘Adore The Musical’ (London); Gretel ‘Sound Of Music’ (Lincoln Theatre Royal) and many more, including independent Theatre and ITV.
Jemma also performs with Tiny T's Storytelling & Theatre as one of their Rainbow Fairies.

Bethany Filler (Mrs Marigold)

Puppeteer, Actor, Singer, Dancer

Bethany started her professional journey as a child, attending the Sylvia Young Theatre School full time from the age of 10. She has been working in various musicals and within the Film and TV world since the age of 7. These included working for Disney Channel UK, Warner Bros Films, BBC and Channel 4. Bethany has worked professionally in numerous shows, including Hairspray, Sister Act, Rapunzel the musical, The Producers and Singing in the Rain as well as appearing in a number pantomimes, straight plays, and most recently completing a 6 month contract in the Caribbean where she starred in many Children's Theatre Shows.
Whilst not performing, Bethany loves to teach and performs with Tiny T's as one of their 'Rainbow Fairies'. Bethany is so excited to be a part of “Spectacular” and can’t wait to see the audiences imaginations running wild!

Tiny T's specialise in imaginative theatre and storytelling for children. Using original stories, Tiny T’s create classes, workshops and performances with the aim to encourage children to use their imaginations and to be unique, creative and most importantly have fun. Tiny T's was founded and is run by professional Actor, Singer-Musician, Puppeteer and Storyteller, Tara Harris.
