The Red Side of the Moon

12 July - 17 July

‘What if we could live our lives, have it all and not have to make minds shift?’

Ellen and Beth meet in a bar at an open mic night in the early 2000’s. They are thrust head first into the public eye and whilst audiences are falling in love with them, they are falling in love with each other.

Join us this summer for the world premiere of this folk inspired new musical from an all female creative team. The beautiful, uplifting, original score will whisk you away on a journey about love, superstardom and the courage to be who you truly are.

Zoe Woodruff

Zoe Woodruff is a queer, theatre obsessed, jack of all trades who has a far reaching understanding of the cogs that make up the theatre industry and is determined to create work that champions under-represented voices, putting queer women in the forefront of her stories and finding ways to readdress the imbalances in theatrical storytelling, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a trained actor, and has worked as a successful producer, casting director and writer since graduating in 2016. From 2019-2020 she was the Resident Production
Assistant on dotdotdot's 'The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience', having worked on the show from pre-production in early 2019. Her play 'You Have A Match', which she co-wrote and produced, sold out its run in London in 2018. It had a critically acclaimed run at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019, receiving multiple 4 star reviews and commendations. She is currently in discussions with producers about her first full length play and is thrilled to be working with Kathryn on 'The Red Side of The Moon'.

Performance Preparation Academy. In 2018 she did Orchestration and Musical Direction for
‘Vernon God Little’ at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Mill Theatre and in 2019 she travelled to
Moscow to perform with Acapella group Joe Public in the Moscow Seasons Festival- where they
received the Audience Choice Award. She also played Bass Guitar in ‘Sensation - Music of The

excited to be collaborating with Zoe Woodruff on it. Kathryn has been a semi professional singer
and musician from the age of 8 where she used to perform with her family in a folk band called ‘
The Tindalls’ who over the course of 13 years performed at folk clubs and festivals all over the
UK. Folk music is something she holds very close to her heart and so she is thrilled to get the
chance to incorporate it into her first piece of writing.
